Any coach, player, parent, or spectator who physically assaults an official, coach, player or other spectator will be removed from the field or facility and will not be allowed to participate in Recreation Department sponsored events for a period of two (2) years. If any person who is asked to leave the area due to ejection and does not will be subjected to having law enforcement called on them for removal.

A.(1) Battery of a school or recreation athletic contest official is a battery committed without the consent of the victim when the offender has reasonable grounds to believe the victim is a school athletic or recreation contest official.
(2) For purposes of this Section, "school athletic contest official" means any referee, umpire, coach, instructor, administrator, staff person, or school or school board employee of any public or private elementary and secondary school while actively engaged in the conducting, supervising, refereeing, or officiating of a school sanctioned interscholastic athletic contest.
(3) For purposes of this Section, "recreation athletic contest official" means any referee, umpire, coach, instructor, administrator, staff person, or recreation employee of any public or quasi-public recreation program while actively engaged in the conducting, supervising, refereeing, or officiating of a sanctioned recreation athletic contest.
B.(1) Whoever commits the crime of battery of a school or recreation athletic contest official shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars and imprisoned not less than forty-eight hours nor more than six months without benefit of suspension of sentence, except as provided in Paragraph (2).
(2) The court, in its discretion, may suspend the imposition of the sentence and place the offender on probation with the condition that he shall perform five days of community service work. Failure to successfully complete the community service work, as determined by the supervisor of the program to which he is assigned, may result in revocation of probation.

XVIII: 8U- & 6U
Previous rule from a 2023 consisted of a no run zone, this rule has been amended per NFL Flag to adjusted to specific grade level of play to now include the following only.
X: Running:
Rule 2. Amended Rule: In the SCPRD league the Quarterback will be allowed to run 1 time before midfield in the run zone and 1 time after midfield in the run zone. The quarterback will not be allowed to run in the NO RUN Zone in the 9 and up age groups.
Rule 3.Pitching or Lateral Rule Amended. In the SCPRD league the ball will be allowed to be lateraled or pitched beyond the line of scrimmage. The lateral or pitch must be made backwards or to the side, but never forwards.
These are NFL FLAG recommended and adopted adjustments to the rules that have been proven successful among RCX Grade Based NFL FLAG Leagues and NFL Leagues throughout the country from their direct input to assist with teaching the Game in the younger age groups.
a. 8U / 2nd & 3rd Grade
i. ‘No Run’ zones are eliminated. Teams may run anywhere on the field.
ii. Defenders may NOT rush the passer unless there is a legal handoff executed in the backfield.
iii. One Coach for each team is permitted on the field pre-snap to help their players but MUST be off the field prior to the snap of the ball.
b. 7U & 6U / 1st Grade and Below
i. ‘No Run’ zones are eliminated. Teams may run the ball anywhere on the field.
ii. Defenders may NOT rush the passer unless there is a legal handoff executed in the backfield.
iii. One Coach for each team is permitted on the field pre and post snap to help their players, but post snap at a safe distance to plays completion.
iv. If the ball falls to or touches the ground during the initial center to quarterback exchange, the play is ruled a ‘Do Over’ with no loss of down, once per down. On a second consecutive occurrence, the down is consumed.
v. Defenders MUST line up at least five yards from the line of scrimmage prior to the snap. If the ball is spotted on or inside the 5-yard line, the distance is reduced to three (3) yards
I. Game:
Rule 3: In the SCPRD league we will have (4) downs to cross midfield. Once cross midfield they will have 4 downs to score.
